Launched in 2014 by Guerlain and crafted by Thierry Wasser, Coque d'Or (2014) is a chypre fragrance that marries the luxurious and rare materials for which Guerlain has long been renowned with innovative synthetic elements. The composition opens with aldehydes and bergamot, adding an aromatic twist before settling into a heart of cyclamen, jasmine, and carnation. The base notes of musk, civet, patchouli, and vanilla create a complex and earthy warmth, grounding the fragrance in both heritage and modernity.

Application Tips
