The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Vanisia by Creed was launched in 1987 and was created by Olivier Creed for the queen of Spain, who wished to emulate the style statement made by her great-aunt, Marie Antoinette. This Oriental fragrance opens with a fresh burst of Bergamot before giving way to the rich and sensual heart notes of Bulgarian Rose and Jasmine. The base is a blend of Amber, Sandalwood, Ambergris, and Vanille, creating an unforgettable warmth and depth that is both mysterious and opulent.

How to wear it

Apply Vanisia in light layers for a lasting warmth. The Bergamot top notes are fleeting but essential to set up the deeper tones that emerge over time. Best suited for evening wear when its animalic base can fully bloom.
