Launched in 2010 by Dior and crafted by François Demachy, La Collection Couturier Parfumeur Granville is a fragrance that captures the essence of French elegance. The composition opens with vibrant lemon and thyme, creating an aromatic freshness that feels both crisp and invigorating. This brightness gives way to a heart of rosemary and pine tree, adding layers of greenery and woodsy depth. The base notes of dyer’s greenweed, pepper, sandalwood, and woody notes bring warmth and complexity, grounding the scent in earthy richness.
One to two sprays is sufficient — the aromatic top notes are bright but fleeting, while the woody base notes develop gradually. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room, making it ideal for daytime wear where a subtle yet elegant presence is desired.
