L'eau des Hesperides by Diptyque was launched in 2008 and created by perfumer Olivier Pescheux. This aromatic fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of citrus notes, including bitter orange, mandarin, and lemon, which are balanced by green accents like grass and petitgrain. The heart introduces herbal elements such as rosemary and mint, creating a fresh spicy profile that adds depth and complexity. As the scent settles into its woody base, immortelle, musk, and cedar provide warmth and a lingering sense of freshness.
Apply L'eau des Hesperides sparingly; its bright top notes are immediate but fade quickly. The herbal heart and woody base will continue to develop throughout the day, so one or two sprays should be sufficient for lasting freshness.
