The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Olivier Polge, The One Baroque For Men by Dolce&Gabbana is a Woody Spicy fragrance that captures the essence of Italian elegance with a modern twist. Opening with fresh citrus notes like grapefruit and neroli, it quickly transitions to aromatic herbs such as basil and coriander, creating an unexpected tension between freshness and warmth. The heart introduces spicy elements like ginger and cardamom, adding depth before settling into a rich tobacco and amber base that reads as smoky and intimate.
Two sprays on pulse points are sufficient — the citrus and aromatic opening notes fade within a couple of hours but make way for a lingering base that reads as warm and smoky. Best worn in cooler weather to enhance its depth.
