Launched in 1994 by the bold Italian fashion house Dolce&Gabbana, this fragrance was crafted to capture a fresh and confident spirit. Perfumer Max Gavarry orchestrated an aromatic fougère composition that opens with bright citrus notes of lemon and bergamot, balanced by clary sage and tarragon for a crisp, green freshness. The heart introduces lavender and neroli, adding a soft floral touch before the warm spices like pepper and cinnamon take over. A rich base of tonka bean, sandalwood, and musk rounds out the scent with a powdery warmth that lingers on the skin.
Apply one or two sprays on the pulse points in the morning. The citrus notes are bright but fade within an hour, so rely on the rich base for lasting warmth throughout the day. This fragrance reads better close to the skin rather than filling a room.
