Launched in 2023 and created by Mathilde Bijaoui, Velvet Blue Musk is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance from the Italian luxury fashion house Dolce&Gabbana. This composition opens with cardamom and saffron, adding warmth and depth to an aromatic base. The heart of damask rose and cumin creates a subtle tension between floral sweetness and earthy spice, while sandalwood and musk form a powdery, woody foundation that reads as luxurious yet restrained.
Apply Velvet Blue Musk with two sprays for a balanced wear — the aromatic top notes are bright but fleeting, while the musky base develops gradually. This fragrance works best in cooler settings; its warmth can feel heavy on humid days.
