Launched in 2020 by Bogue, Douleur!2 and men is an aquatic and metallic fragrance that embodies the innovative spirit of its creator, Antonio Gardoni. The composition opens with a bright melon and mint accord that reads as fresh and crisp, before giving way to a complex heart of camphor and rose, adding depth and intrigue. The base notes of civet, resins, and benzoin provide an earthy warmth that contrasts beautifully against the cool, metallic undertones.

Antonio Gardoni, an Italian perfumer originally trained as an architect, founded Jump Studios in London before turning to fragrance as a self-taught, avant-garde perfumer. He develops scents for his own brand Bogue as well as for Zoologist and Shekor, preferring to work at night with traditional infusion methods and high-concentration extrait de parfum strength, and offers a bespoke 'Bogue-Tailor' service.
