Eau du Soir by Sisley was launched in 1990 but its story began much earlier. Originally Countess Isabelle d'Ornano's personal signature scent for nine years, it was finally released to the public with her perfumery team’s expertise. This fragrance is a modern take on the classic chypre structure, blending fresh and woody notes into an earthy, aromatic composition. The opening of grapefruit and mandarin orange gives way to a heart of carnation, iris, and rose, while oak moss, patchouli, and labdanum anchor the base with their rich, mossy character. Eau du Soir is celebrated by chypre enthusiasts for its balance between traditional green notes and modern wearability, though it remains polarizing among some noses.

Application Tips
Eau du Soir develops best when applied closer to skin rather than sprayed in the air. The grapefruit and mandarin notes are vivid but fleeting, so allow it a moment to settle before heading out. It’s particularly captivating in the evening, where its mossy and floral nuances shine.
