The story behind the bottle.
Elixir, launched in 2023 by Elie Saab and crafted by perfumers Aurelien Guichard and Jérôme di Marino, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that captures the essence of its namesake. The composition opens with a bright mandarin orange and neroli, creating a sense of freshness that quickly transitions into the heart notes of iris and violet. These floral elements are then enveloped by warm spices, amberwood, benzoin, and myrrh, which provide an earthy, powdery warmth. This contrast between the crisp top notes and rich base creates a scent that feels both fresh and sensuous.
Apply Elixir with two sprays to ensure that both the bright top notes and the rich base are well-balanced. The fragrance develops best close to skin, so consider layering it for a more intimate experience rather than wearing it in an open space.
