Launched in 1970 and crafted by perfumer Guy Robert, Equipage by Hermès is a complex Oriental Fougère that embodies the brand’s heritage of elegance and craftsmanship. The composition opens with clary sage and aldehydes, creating an aromatic freshness that quickly evolves into warm spices like nutmeg flower and cinnamon. This spicy warmth contrasts beautifully with the crisp citrus notes of bergamot and orange, leading to a heart of carnation, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley that adds floral depth.
