The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015, Aliage by Estée Lauder is an earthy and mossy composition that balances fresh citrus with deep woody notes. The fragrance opens with green and citric accords, giving way to a heart of jasmine and rose, which are enhanced by the herbal note of artemisia. At its core, Aliage features nutmeg, oakmoss, vetiver, and cedar, creating a warm and grounding base that is both fresh and spicy. This blend makes for an intriguing contrast between light and dark, modernity and tradition.
Aliage's green and citrus notes are bright but fleeting, so apply two sprays to ensure the deeper woody and mossy base emerges. This fragrance reads better close to skin than across a room, making it perfect for intimate settings or casual outings.
