Launched in 2024, White Linen Legacy by Estée Lauder is a Floral Aldehyde fragrance that marries the crispness of aldehydes with the warmth of powdery musk and woody notes. Perfumer Carlos Benaïm crafts an opening that feels fresh and clean, reminiscent of freshly laundered linens, before transitioning into a heart of white florals and rose. The base notes of amber and woody accords provide depth and comfort, grounding the composition in a familiar yet refined elegance.
One or two sprays are sufficient; the aldehydic opening is bright but fades within a couple of hours. The powdery musk and woody base notes take center stage after that, making it ideal for daytime wear where subtlety is key.
