The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1989 by the Italian fashion house Etro, Gomma is a Woody Chypre fragrance for both women and men. Created by perfumer Edouard Fléchier, this composition seamlessly blends artemisia's herbal edge with the warmth of amber and the smokiness of leather. The opening notes of lemon introduce a bright citrus freshness that contrasts sharply with the rich, animalic undertones, creating an intriguing tension throughout the fragrance.
Apply Gomma to pulse points for a lasting warmth. The bright lemon top note fades quickly, so focus on the heart and base notes, which bloom slowly over time. It's best worn close to skin rather than sprayed liberally in the air.
