The story behind the bottle.
The Mariner's Rhyme by Francesca Bianchi, launched in 2024, is an Oriental Fougere that captures the essence of a seafarer’s journey. The composition opens with elemi and bergamot, creating a bright, ozonic freshness that feels like standing on deck during a crisp morning sail. As it evolves, lavender and grapefruit add aromatic warmth, while iris and orange blossom bring a soft floral undertone. The base notes of oakmoss, frankincense, patchouli, and amber anchor the fragrance with earthy depth and woody richness.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points. The ozonic top notes are bright but fade within an hour, while the earthy base notes develop slowly over time. This fragrance is best worn in cooler weather when you want a subtle yet enduring presence.
