The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2007 by Giorgio Armani and crafted by perfumers Carlos Benaïm, Dominique Ropion, and Olivier Polge, Armani Code Sheer is a composition that balances freshness with warmth. The fragrance opens with the bright, uplifting scent of African Orange Flower, which sets the tone for a crisp and radiant experience. This top note is then enveloped by the soft, delicate notes of cyclamen, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley in the heart, creating an ethereal bouquet that feels both refined and approachable. The base layers of musk and woody notes add depth without overpowering the lighter elements above.
One or two sprays will suffice — the fresh top notes are bright but fade within a couple of hours, making way for the musky base that carries through the rest of the day. It’s best suited for daytime wear when its lighter profile can shine without feeling too heavy.
