The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2010, Armani Prive Oud Royal by Giorgio Armani is a sophisticated and luxurious Oriental Woody fragrance crafted by perfumer Evelyne Boulanger. The composition opens with the warmth of amber and oud, creating an immediate sense of richness and depth. As it evolves, the warm spicy and woody accords add complexity, while the smoky and balsamic notes lend a touch of mystery. A powdery rose rounds out the base, adding a subtle floral touch that keeps the fragrance from becoming too heavy.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points — wrists, neck, and behind the ears. The smoky base notes take time to develop fully, so it’s worth waiting an hour for them to settle in before reapplying if needed.
