Launched in 2023 by Gucci, A Floral Verse is a Floral Green fragrance designed to capture the poetic journey from dusk to dawn. Perfumer Alexandra Monet brings together the moonlit wisdom of India’s Jasmine Sambac and the vibrant dawn of Sri Lankan Black Tea. The composition opens with the warm, fruity green nuances of Jasmine Sambac before transitioning into the dry, leafy accents of Black Tea, enhanced by fresh and spicy facets. Sealed by a soft balsamic White Musk base note, A Floral Verse encapsulates the interplay between light and darkness, creating an enchanting olfactory experience.
For the best experience, apply A Floral Verse at dusk. The fragrance blooms over time, with the fresh green top notes giving way to the warm musk base as the night progresses. It pairs well with other scents from Gucci’s Alchemist's Garden collection for layered complexity.
