Heavenly Tobacco by Aromas de Salazar, launched in 2022, is a rich aromatic composition crafted by Michael Salazar. The fragrance opens with elemi resin and melon, creating an unexpected contrast of fresh green and sweet fruit notes that give way to the heart of tobacco and honey, blending sweetness with earthy warmth. Patchouli and jasmine sambac add depth, while castoreum introduces a subtle animalic touch, enhancing the complexity of the scent. The base is a smoky, woody, and musky affair, anchored by Cambodian oud, suede, styrax, hay, and amber, resulting in a layered and enveloping aroma that feels both modern and lasting.

Application Tips
Heavenly Tobacco has a rich, complex profile that unfolds gradually. Apply two sprays to your pulse points and allow it to settle for about ten minutes before heading out. The smoky base notes take time to develop fully, so avoid layering with other scents or heavy colognes. This fragrance reads best close to the skin rather than in a cloud of sillage.

Founding perfumer · 1 fragrances

Michael Salazar, formerly a chef and baker who worked as an ER technician, began researching raw materials and blending fragrances at home after twelve-hour hospital shifts. Sharing his experiments in fragrance Facebook communities led to demand for his creations, and without initially planning a business, he founded Aromas de Salazar, debuting with Café Fiesta, a blend of pineapple, rose, and coffee, built on a philosophy of pushing boundaries and sharing formulas openly with the community.

The musty pages of an old leather-bound book left open to air on a sunlit windowsill, with the lingering scent of tobacco and honey.
