Launched in 2018, Hili by WIDIAN is a collaborative effort between perfumers Ali Aljaberi and Jean-Claude Astier, blending white floral and woody accords with sweet nuances. The composition opens with the bright freshness of bergamot and pink pepper, leading into a heart of tuberose and jasmine that reads as rich and powdery. This is balanced by the warm embrace of vanilla and sandalwood in the base notes, creating an overall impression of elegance and depth.

Apply Hili in two light sprays for best results — the opening freshness fades within an hour but allows the rich base notes to develop. It pairs particularly well with casual evenings or during cooler weather when its warmth can be fully appreciated.

Ali Aljaberi, based in Abu Dhabi, grew up around his family's fragrance boutique, opened in 1982. He studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, and with the help of perfumer Jean-Claude Astier founded the brand A J Arabia in 2008, later renamed Widian as its ambitions grew international.
