Launched in 2019 by Hugo Boss, Boss Bottled Oud Saffron is a Woody Spicy fragrance that stands out through its rich and complex blend of notes. Created by perfumer Annick Ménardo, the composition opens with saffron, which adds an unexpected depth to the woody base of oud and labdanum. The heart features rose, bringing a touch of floral warmth against the warm spicy undertones, while metallic and leather notes add a modern edge. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor overly sharp but rather balanced and sophisticated.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points for a slow reveal — the initial burst of saffron fades quickly, but the warm spicy base notes develop over time. It's best worn in cooler settings as the woody warmth can feel heavy in warmer environments.
