Launched in 2018, Hyrax by Zoologist Perfumes is a Woody Spicy fragrance crafted by perfumer Sven Pritzkoleit. The composition opens with saffron and elemi, bringing an unexpected brightness that contrasts sharply with the deeper notes of hyrax, castoreum, and civet. These animalic elements are balanced by the warmth of amber, benzoin, and tonka bean, while whiskey adds a subtle hint of sophistication. The scent is enveloped in layers of leather and smoky woods, creating an intriguing mix that oscillates between earthy intensity and luxurious comfort.

Application Tips
Apply this fragrance to pulse points for maximum warmth and longevity. The animalic notes develop gradually over time, so allow it to settle before venturing out. This composition reads better close to skin rather than across a room, making it ideal for intimate settings.
