The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2001 by Issey Miyake, Soleil d'Issey is a Floral Green fragrance that captures the essence of sunlight filtered through blossoming flowers and fresh citrus. The composition opens with freesia and lemon, creating an immediate sense of brightness and freshness. As it evolves, neroli and jasmine sambac bring soft floral notes, while beeswax and honey add warmth and depth. The base of musk and sandalwood ensures a lingering, powdery finish that evokes the quiet comfort of a sunlit room.
Apply two sprays initially — the bright top notes will fade within an hour but leave behind a warm floral heart that lasts throughout the day. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a room, making it perfect for daytime wear.
