Launched in 2016 by Jimmy Choo, Illicit Flower is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance created by perfumers Aliénor Massenet and Nicolas Beaulieu. The composition opens with bright citrus and fruity notes like mandarin orange, apricot, and grapefruit blossom before leading into the heart of rose, freesia, and jasmine. These floral accords are then grounded by woody and musky base notes such as cashmere wood, sandalwood, vanilla, and benzoin, creating a fragrance that is both vibrant and intimate.
