The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Jimmy Choo, Illicit by Anne Flipo is a fragrance that balances the sweetness of honey and caramel with fresh spicy notes like ginger and bitter orange. The opening blend of citrus and ginger creates an immediate freshness, which gives way to a heart of jasmine sambac and rose, adding a soft floral touch. The base notes of amber, vanilla, sandalwood, and cashmere wood provide warmth and depth, creating a scent that is both alluring and sophisticated.
Apply Illicit with two sprays — the spicy top notes are immediate but fleeting. The honeyed base will develop on your skin for several hours, making it perfect for an evening out or a day at work.
