Launched in 2018 by Jo Malone London and crafted by perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui, Green Wheat & Meadowsweet captures the essence of an English field at dawn. The composition opens with a crisp burst of grapefruit, drawing out the fresh youthfulness of green wheat. This is balanced by the soft white notes of meadowsweet blossoms, adding a subtle botanical contrast. Vetiver brings an earthy depth to the fragrance, grounding its freshness and representing the cereals before they mature into grains.
This fragrance blooms best when applied directly to pulse points. The grapefruit top note is vibrant and fleeting, so layering it over the earthy vetiver base can enhance its longevity throughout the day. Best worn during spring or early summer for a fresh, green feel.
