The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014 by Jo Malone London and crafted by perfumer Christine Nagel, London Rain Black Cedarwood & Juniper is a woody spicy fragrance that captures the essence of an urban rainstorm. The composition opens with the sharp freshness of cumin and chili pepper, creating a vibrant contrast before settling into the rich warmth of juniper and cedar. This interplay between fresh spiciness and deep woods evokes the crispness of rainfall on city streets, followed by the enveloping comfort of black cedarwood.
London Rain Black Cedarwood & Juniper is best applied as a light mist, allowing the initial spiciness to give way to its warm woody base. The spicy notes fade within an hour, so aim for two sprays and let the cedar and juniper take center stage throughout the day.
