Launched in 2019 and crafted by perfumers Louise Turner and Yann Vasnier, Lupin & Patchouli by Jo Malone London is a chypre floral fragrance that balances the earthy richness of patchouli with the delicate warmth of rose and balsamic notes. The composition opens with a lush green note from lupin, which then gives way to a heart of floral and warm spicy accords, anchored by woody and earthy undertones. This blend creates an intriguing tension between natural freshness and deep sensuality.
Apply Lupin & Patchouli lightly but evenly for best results. The lupin top note fades relatively quickly, so it’s essential to let the rich base notes take center stage after about an hour. This fragrance is versatile enough for both day and night, but its earthy warmth makes it particularly suitable for evening.
