The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Peony & Moss by Jo Malone London was launched in 2012 and is a fragrance that captures the essence of English botanical gardens. Created by perfumer Christine Nagel, this composition features a striking contrast between delicate floral notes and earthy moss. The scent opens with fresh green accords and black currant, which give way to the heart of peony and ivy. The base note of moss adds depth and an earthy touch that grounds the fragrance. This chypre floral creation is part of Jo Malone's limited London Blooms collection, inspired by the beauty of English lawns and botanical gardens.

How to wear it

This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points. The top notes are vibrant but short-lived, so a second application after an hour can help sustain the floral and green accords. It reads better close to skin than in the air, making it ideal for quiet moments or indoor settings.
