Launched in 2018 by Jo Malone London and crafted by perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui, Primrose & Rye is a fragrance that captures the essence of sun-drenched English fields. The composition opens with vibrant primroses and mimosa, evoking the warmth of late summer afternoons. This sunny bouquet is complemented by rich notes of corn and coconut, creating an addictive base of rye and vanilla that adds depth and smokiness. The result is a scent that feels both fresh and comforting, like walking through fields dotted with golden flowers.
