The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Le Rouge Flower by Kenzo, launched in 2025 and crafted by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Marie Salamagne, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that marries the warmth of vanilla with the depth of rose. The opening notes of rice lend a subtle earthiness that contrasts beautifully with the sweet, powdery heart of May Rose and vanilla. As it settles into its base, amber and sandalwood provide a rich, woody foundation that is both comforting and alluring. This composition captures the essence of Kenzo's blend of traditional Japanese lines with multi-cultural influences.

How to wear it

For best effect, apply Le Rouge Flower to your pulse points and let it sit for a few minutes before dressing. The rice note opens up quickly but fades within an hour, so rely on the base notes of amber and sandalwood to carry the fragrance throughout the day.
