Launched in 2018 by Van Cleef & Arpels and crafted by perfumer Julien Rasquinet, Rose Rouge is a vibrant Oriental Floral fragrance for both women and men. The composition opens with the juicy burst of black currant and pink pepper before leading into the heart of rose and raspberry, where sweet fruity notes dance alongside floral elegance. This playful interplay gives way to a warm base of vanilla, cacao pod, vetiver, patchouli, benzoin, and musk, creating a rich blend that is both comforting and alluring.
Start with one generous spray to capture its initial fruity burst. The scent evolves over time, so give it about an hour for the rich base notes to fully unfold. This fragrance reads best close to skin, making it perfect for intimate settings or cozy evenings.
