Néroli Amara by Van Cleef & Arpels was launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Quentin Bisch. This fragrance opens with a vibrant blend of citrus notes — bergamot, mandarin orange, and Italian lemon — that create an invigorating freshness. The heart of the composition features pink pepper and cypress, adding a subtle spiciness and green depth before settling into a base of white musk and neroli. This contrast between bright citrus and warm musky notes makes it feel like two different fragrances depending on the hour.
Start with one spray in the morning — the citrus opening is bright and invigorating but fades within two hours. The warm musk base continues to evolve throughout the day, so it's best suited for daytime wear when you want a fragrance that evolves naturally.
