Launched in 2022 by Kenzo and crafted by perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault, Poudre Matcha is a Floral Green fragrance that seamlessly blends the earthy freshness of matcha tea with a warm, powdery base. The composition opens with an aromatic mix of matcha and mate, creating a vibrant green note that feels both invigorating and grounding. As it evolves, the rose adds a subtle floral touch, while musk and vanilla lend a comforting warmth that anchors the scent.
Apply Poudre Matcha lightly — the top notes are bright but fleeting. Allow it to settle on your skin for about an hour before reapplying if needed. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room, making it perfect for daytime wear.

A teenage bottle of Joop, and a mentorJean-Christophe Hérault is a senior perfumer at IFF based in Paris, whose interest in fragrance began as a teenager after receiving a bottle of Joop! Homme. He later met legendary perfumer Pierre Bourdon, who agreed to mentor him into the craft.
