Launched in 2007 and crafted by Marie Salamagne, Tokyo by Kenzo is a Woody Spicy fragrance that embodies the vibrant energy of its namesake city. The composition opens with a burst of citrus — lemon and grapefruit — infused with the freshness of green tea and ginger. These bright notes give way to a heart of pink pepper and nutmeg, adding a subtle warmth and complexity. The base notes of cedar and guaiac wood ground the fragrance, creating a harmonious blend that feels both modern and lasting.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points. The bright top notes will last for about an hour before giving way to the warmer heart and base notes. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a room, so layer it on for maximum impact.
