Launched in 1999 by Lancôme, 2000 et Une Nuit is a floral fragrance created by perfumer Christine Nagel. It opens with an aldehydic and fresh spicy accord that introduces a crisp, modern freshness. The heart of the composition features rose, which provides a classic yet contemporary elegance. This is complemented by woody and musky notes that lend warmth and depth, grounding the scent in a powdery, sensual base.
This fragrance blooms best with two sprays — the aldehydic top notes can be quite crisp at first but settle into a warm, powdery base after about an hour. Best applied in the evening or for indoor settings where its warmth can be fully appreciated.
