The story behind the bottle.
Mathilde Bijaoui crafted Magnolia Rosae by Lancôme in 2019, infusing the composition with a delicate balance of floral and musky notes. The fragrance opens with a bright citrus accord that gives way to a heart filled with rose and magnolia, creating an ethereal floral bouquet. A powdery base adds warmth and depth, grounding the scent in a soft, enveloping musk.
One to two sprays are sufficient as the powdery base notes develop gradually over time. The citrus opening is fleeting but refreshing, so layering on a warm, cozy base can enhance its lasting presence.
