Launched in 2003 by Lancôme and crafted by Jean-Pierre Béthouart and Alain Astori, Miracle Intense is a fragrance that intertwines fresh spiciness with rich floral notes. The composition opens with the zesty freshness of ginger and pepper, creating an immediate sense of vibrancy and energy. This contrasts beautifully with the heart of magnolia and jasmine, which brings a softness and warmth to the blend. Incense adds a subtle smokiness, grounding the fragrance in an earthy depth that is both intriguing and comforting.
Miracle Intense is best applied with one or two sprays — the ginger and pepper top notes are quite potent but fade within an hour. The musky base then takes over, providing warmth and depth throughout the day. This fragrance reads better close to skin than across a room.

From chemistry to Caron's Parfum SacréJean-Pierre Béthouart is a French perfumer born in Picardy who studied chemistry before discovering perfumery, beginning his career at Givaudan in 1981 and working there until 1987, after which he became a senior perfumer at Firmenich.
