Launched in 2024, Liwa Hair Mist by WIDIAN is a collaborative effort between perfumers Ali Aljaberi and Jean-Claude Astier. The composition opens with the bright zest of bergamot and saffron, creating an aromatic and fresh spicy contrast that immediately draws attention. This vibrant top note gives way to a heart of jasmine and white flowers, adding a subtle floral sweetness that complements rather than overwhelms. The base notes feature cedarwood, sandalwood, patchouli, agarwood, and vetiver, which ground the fragrance with rich woody and earthy tones, providing depth and warmth.

Ali Aljaberi, based in Abu Dhabi, grew up around his family's fragrance boutique, opened in 1982. He studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, and with the help of perfumer Jean-Claude Astier founded the brand A J Arabia in 2008, later renamed Widian as its ambitions grew international.
