Launched in 2010, L'Eau au Masculin by Lolita Lempicka is an aromatic woody fragrance that balances freshness with warmth. Perfumer Annick Ménardo crafted this composition around a bright citrus-aromatic opening of lemon verbena and Italian lemon, which contrasts beautifully against the earthy, powdery base notes like vetyver and olive tree. The heart of violet woodsorrel and jasmine adds a delicate floral touch that softens the overall impact without overpowering the aromatic freshness.
Two sprays are sufficient — the citrus top notes open up quickly but fade within a couple of hours. The powdery base notes take about an hour to develop fully, so give it time before reapplying. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in wide sillage.
