Launched in 2016 and crafted by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, Mille Feux by Louis Vuitton is a Leather fragrance for women that balances the warmth of raspberry with the depth of leather and earthy accords. The composition opens with bright raspberry and bergamot before transitioning into a heart filled with rose, saffron, osmanthus, iris, and jasmine. The base notes of leather, orris root, moss, sandalwood, and patchouli ground this fragrance, creating an intriguing interplay between sweetness and earthiness.
Apply Mille Feux lightly at first; the raspberry and bergamot top notes are fleeting but vibrant. Allow it to settle for an hour before reapplying if you want a stronger presence. This fragrance reads better close to skin, making it ideal for intimate settings or evening wear.
