Pur Oud by Louis Vuitton, launched in 2021 and crafted by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, is a Woody Spicy fragrance that centers on the bold presence of oud. This composition opens with fresh spicy notes that create an immediate tension before settling into a warm, woody base that feels both luxurious and grounding. The contrast between the invigorating top and the enveloping heart makes Pur Oud feel like a journey from clarity to comfort.
Pur Oud has a strong projection from its oud base, so one or two sprays are sufficient. Allow it to settle for about ten minutes before stepping out; the spicy freshness will make way for the woody depth as the day progresses.
