The story behind the bottle.
Jacques Cavallier Belletrud crafted Rose des Vents for Louis Vuitton, launching it in 2016 as an ode to the floral and powdery elegance that defines the brand's signature. The fragrance opens with a burst of peach and green notes before diving into the heart of may rose, Turkish rose, and iris, creating a lush yet delicate bouquet. The base of white musk, orris root, cedar, violet leaf, and pepper adds depth and warmth, grounding the composition in a sophisticated balance.
This fragrance blooms gradually, so applying it slightly above your usual pulse points allows the powdery and floral notes to develop fully. It pairs well with light layers, making it perfect for daytime wear.
