Macaque, crafted by Sarah McCartney and launched by Zoologist Perfumes in 2016, is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that oscillates between fresh and woody notes, creating a dynamic interplay of greens and woods. The opening burst of green apple and blood mandarin sets the scene with an unexpected sharpness, while galbanum adds a layer of mossy earthiness. This freshness transitions into a heart of jasmine tea and palisander rosewood, which brings warmth without losing its crisp edge. The base notes of honey, olibanum, ylang-ylang, green tea, cedarmoss, musk, and white oud provide depth and longevity, grounding the composition in a complex yet harmonious blend.

Application Tips
Apply two sprays to your pulse points; the green and fruity top notes will fade within an hour, but the woody base notes will persist throughout the day. This fragrance reads best when worn close to skin rather than diffused widely.
