Launched in 2012 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Oud is a rich and luxurious Oriental Woody fragrance that focuses on the exquisite oud accord. Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian uses oud from Laos, where it is known for its purity and expense. The composition is enriched with woody and spicy notes of patchouli and sandalwood, creating a modern interpretation of ancient Arabian perfumes.
Oud's rich base notes take time to bloom, so a slightly heavier first application will ensure the full depth is experienced. It pairs well with cool evenings or intimate settings where its warmth can be fully appreciated.
