The story behind the bottle.
Carlos Benaïm crafted Promenade In The Gardens by Maison Martin Margiela in 2013, bringing together a chypre floral composition that captures the essence of a walk through lush gardens. The fragrance opens with green notes and freesia, creating an immediate sense of freshness and vitality. As it evolves, Turkish rose and peony provide a delicate floral heart that is both elegant and subtle. Patchouli, vetiver, and Australian sandalwood anchor the base, adding depth and warmth without overpowering the lighter elements above.
Apply two sprays to the pulse points; the green top notes are bright but fleeting. The warm base notes will gradually come into their own over an hour or so, making it ideal for daytime wear without needing a second application.
