The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2022 by Masque Milano and crafted by perfumer Stephanie Bakouche, Sleight of Fern is a captivating Oriental Fougere that balances aromatic freshness with woody depth. The fragrance opens with the crispness of calabrian bergamot and red thyme, followed by a heart of lavender and narcissus, which adds a subtle floral touch. As it settles into its base notes of birch, oakmoss, patchouli, tonka bean, and sandalwood, Sleight of Fern reveals an intriguing smoky and leather accent that grounds the composition with a sense of mystery.
Sleight of Fern’s aromatic top notes are fleeting but impactful. Apply two sprays to your pulse points and allow it to settle for about five minutes before heading out — this ensures you catch both its fresh opening and its deeper, smoky base notes as they unfold.
