HeartThe Soul
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2022, White Whale by Masque Milano is an Oriental Woody fragrance crafted by perfumer Christian Alori. This composition opens with the bracing freshness of salt and Madagascar pepper, before giving way to a heart of Chinese osmanthus and violet. The base notes of Italian orris root, Haitian vetiver, Virginia cedar, Indonesian patchouli leaf, and labdanum create a rich blend that is both earthy and powdery, with a subtle animalic undertone.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points — wrists, neck, and behind the ears. The salt and pepper notes fade quickly, so a second application after an hour can help maintain its fresh opening. It pairs well with a light jacket for added warmth without overpowering.
