Launched in 2015 by Memo Paris, Ilha do Mel is a floral masterpiece crafted by perfumer Aliénor Massenet. This fragrance opens with the bright freshness of mandarin orange and juniper, creating an immediate sense of warmth and vibrancy. The heart of hyacinth and jasmine brings a delicate sweetness, while honey adds a rich, luscious layer that contrasts beautifully with the green notes of broom and iris. The base is a soft, comforting blend of vanilla, rounding out the composition with a touch of indulgence.
One spray to each wrist and neck is enough for this fragrance. The mandarin orange and juniper in the top notes are bright but fleeting, so it's best applied just before you leave home. Ilha do Mel reads better close to skin than across a room, making it perfect for daytime wear.
