Launched in 2007 by Memo Paris and crafted by perfumer Aliénor Massenet, Lalibela is a chypre floral fragrance that captures the essence of delicate femininity. The composition opens with green notes and jasmine, leading to a heart of freesia, rose, ylang-ylang, and heliotrope before settling into a warm base of vanilla, patchouli, and musk. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor overpowering; instead, it offers a gentle balance between floral freshness and powdery warmth.
Lalibela is best applied to pulse points for a gentle warmth that builds on skin. The green notes and floral heart are most prominent during the first hour, so reapply sparingly after they fade if you wish to emphasize the powdery base.
